'Every Day' Tournament Campaign
The Big East Campaign touched people from those who viewed the billboards in Times Square to others who used the blog and “QR” codes. Read more about the campaign at Campaign Description. For the latest in WVU news, please check out the source at WVU Today.
A redesigned wvutoday logo unifies all components of the campaign.
Calling Cards & Tent Cards
Calling cards and tent cards include the wvutoday URL, as well as a QR Code (two-dimensional bar code) that launches a specially designed mobile site. More about QR Codes

To create interest and drive people to the mobile website, students and employees are wearing t-shirts printed with the new wvutoday logo and QR Code.
These slides are taken from a 30-second video created for the Big East and NCAA basketball tournaments. The video is being shown on the CBS Spectacular board on 42nd Street in Times Square, and across from Madison Square Garden and Penn Station on Macy’s Vision Big East board located at the corner of 34th St. and 7th Ave.
When mobile phone users (with the correct reader software on their phones) scan the QR code, their phone’s browser automatically launches a site created for this campaign. Android and iPhone users are directed to a site featuring five images from the 30-second video, a news story related to each image, and links to the wvutoday website. Those with other phones receive a text version of the same site.
A new website gives fans a place to post messages of support for the men’s and women’s teams and coaches as they advance in the Big East and NCAA tournaments. The site is being promoted on wvutoday on the WVU and athletics home pages; and via links posted on the WVU Facebook and Twitter accounts.Home Page
