Stanley Gould, 2012 Ultimate Mountaineer Fan

Stanley Gould was named the Ultimate Mountaineer Fan in 2012, as a part of Mountaineer Nation Day. Gould won two game day passes, plus two suite tickets in the alumni box and a parking pass for the Kansas game, courtesy of the WVU Alumni Association. Included with the tickets was a WVU prize pack consisting of a Commemorative WVU Orange Bowl helmet and football, plus the 2012 Official WVU Fan Shirt and other great officially licensed WVU products.

What is your favorite Mountaineer game you attended? 

1988 Penn State game.

In one word describe what being a Mountaineer means to you? 

Proud

Share one Mountaineer fun fact about you. 

I have been a fan all my life and will continue. I like Coach Huggins and Mountaineer Basketball. I grew up being a Mountaineer fan and I coached grade school basketball at Valley Head School in Valley Head, WV.

What is your favorite WVU Athletics venue and why?

WVU Coliseum. I like the design of it.

Who is your favorite Mountaineer player (past or present)? 

Major Harris

If you could go back and relive any Mountaineer moment, what would it be? 

Oklahoma Game in 1982. Jeff Hostetler played.

If you attended a University, what school, what was your major and when did you graduate? 

I did not attend WVU.

My first Mountaineer memory is… 

1966- Duke Blue Devil in Charleston, WV. I watched it on TV.

Where do you currently live? 

Elkins, WV

What is the biggest "thing or event" you have missed to watch a WVU game? 

One of my friend’s wedding.

What is your favorite piece if WVU gear to wear when you are watching the Mountaineers?

Shirt, cap, WVU crew socks. Gold and Blue all the way!
